Sunglasses have always been a part of my life. As a U.S. Navy veteran, an AT2 (AW), and a Golden Shellback, I lived and worked in the blinding sun—especially on the flight deck. If I ever forgot my sunglasses, I’d buy another pair immediately. It wasn’t just about style; it was about protection. Sunglasses weren’t optional—they were essential.
That mindset never changed after I left the service. Whether visiting a military base, hanging at the VA, or connecting with fellow veterans, I always felt that deep, unbreakable bond. The Navy built me, shaped me, and made me who I am today. Shellback Shades is my way of giving back to the community that made me.
